An Afternoon Off

Since I tend to be a workaholic and can never pry myself away from my work (why should I? I love my job!), I decided to take the afternoon off to enjoy this gorgeous weather we've been having. After spending the morning running some errands, Jin and I took Dekker for a long walk, then lounged on the back deck playing Scrabble and eating ice cream (I won with 334 points!). I know it's still spring but today felt like summer.. The only thing lacking was a glass of sangria!

After one more long walk to really poop Dekker out, we booked our trip for next winter!! We will be flying into Singapore (where Jin is originally from) and the plan is to also visit Cambodia, Malaysia and Thailand. I have done a lot of travelling but never to Asia, so this will be a completely different experience for me!! I'm looking forward to going crazy with my camera and taking a zillion photos of everything I see! I will definately be updating my fine-art portfolio after this trip..

Working on a new look

I know I've been bad about posting lately, I have just been caught up with getting things organized for when the busy wedding season hits. Also I have a new wedding site that should be coming out in the next couple weeks, which I am so excited about!! So I've been getting all the images ready for that as well..

Also super stoked for my new logo! My designer, Jolanta, is doing such a great job. I've had a look at it and so far I LOVE it.. I can't wait to start using it!!

Dekker

Dekker has been driving me crazy all night with a squeaky hamburger toy that he loves to squeak over and over (and over!) again. Not only does he squeak it, but he has to keep poking me with it like he's trying to tease me.. :) Anyways I couldn't resist posting another photo of him, he's just too cute!

Jaime & Mike - University Golf Club

Mike and Jaime are such an awesome couple. After their engagement shoot in the fall, I was super excited to photograph them again yesterday!

I had a great time wandering Granville Island with these two. They had a great chemistry between them which I really enjoyed capturing.. I can't wait until their wedding this summer for another chance to photograph them!!
